Nothing permanent until you approve the shape
Every brow service starts with a mapping session. Yaqui measures your face, draws the proposed shape, and hands you a mirror. Numbing and the procedure only begin after you say yes.

Yaqui is a licensed esthetician and PhiBrows-certified artist who also trains other permanent makeup artists. You are working with someone who teaches the technique, not someone who took a weekend course.

Yaqui founded Bella's in 2017, opened her first studio in New York state and ran it for six years before moving her practice to Washington, and then to the Coachella Valley. She is an educator for other permanent makeup artists, and she works alone, which means the artist you consult with is the artist who does your brows.
She started Bella's on a simple belief: the best permanent makeup is the kind no one can tell is permanent makeup.
How it works
- Reach out. Book online any time, or call or text (509) 564-9953. Messages are answered within minutes, day or evening.
- Consultation. A free 20-minute visit to the studio to talk about what you want, look at healed results, and choose a technique. No commitment.
- Mapping. On procedure day, Yaqui measures your face and draws the shape. You approve it in the mirror before anything else happens.
- Numbing and procedure. Topical numbing, then the work itself. Brows take about two hours; lips about three.
- Healing. Aftercare instructions go home with you. Brows look darker for the first week, then soften as they heal over about two weeks.
- Perfecting session. Nano brows include a second session at six to eight weeks to refine the result once healed.
A card on file is required to book online. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are charged 90% of the service. That payment is not lost: it is applied in full to your service when you reschedule and come in.
Questions, answered
Does it hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure. Most clients describe the feeling as light scratching or pressure rather than pain, and many find it relaxing enough to nearly fall asleep.
How long does healing take?
Brows look bolder and darker for the first five to seven days, then flake lightly and soften. Most clients are fully healed in about two weeks, with the true color settling by four to six weeks.
How long do nano brows or microblading last?
Typically one to three years, depending on skin type, sun exposure, and skincare products. A touch-up refreshes the color and shape when they start to soften.
Nano brows or microblading: which should I choose?
Both create hair-stroke brows. Nano brows use a fine machine needle and work on all skin types, including oily skin. Microblading uses a hand tool and suits dry to normal skin best. Yaqui will recommend one at your consultation based on your skin.
Can you work over old microblading or faded permanent makeup?
Often, yes, but it depends on how much pigment remains and what color it has healed to. Send a photo or come in for a free consultation so Yaqui can look before you book.
How should I prepare?
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, and blood-thinning supplements for 24 hours before, avoid tanning and retinol products for a week, and come with clean skin and no brow makeup. Full instructions are sent when you book.
Is the consultation in person or by phone?
In person, at the studio in Palm Desert. It takes about 20 minutes. You'll see healed results up close, talk through the shape and technique that fit your face and skin, and get a clear picture of the process. There is no charge and no obligation to book.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay are accepted, so a $550 service can be split into four payments of about $137, or financed monthly from about $48.
